The Changemakers Fellowship curriculum is imbued with Jewish values that form the bedrock of our transformative program. Rooted in the belief that each individual and idea holds inherent value, we cultivate open-mindedness, compassion, collaboration, and inclusivity, as we are made in Gds Image B'Tzelem Elohim. Our curriculum empowers participants to have the courage (Omentz Lev) and curiosity (Sakranut) to develop self-awareness, project confidence, and practice genuine humility as they embark on their first step in the leadership journey. Echoing the timeless wisdom of Hillel, "It is not your duty to complete the task nor are you free to desist from it. Upon completion, fellows will receive a $350 stipend and entrance to the global Changemakers Network.

Time Commitment

2 Hours Live Virtual & 2-3 hours Independent Study per week for six weeks.

The Fellowship includes, actively participating in:

Cohorts (5 group and one one-on-one | 1x Per Week)
Independent Study (Weekly selection of Modules, podcasts, and embodied practice series)

Step 1:

Complete Application | Deadline: February 16th, 2024

Application Reviewed | On a rolling basis

Step 3:

Prospective Fellows Session | If your application is approved, you will receive an invitation to attend one of our Prospective Fellows sessions

Step 4:

Confirm Acceptance | Please confirm your acceptance by September 29th, 2023

Step 5:

Portal and Code of Conduct | Create your portal log in and sign the Code of Conduct by March 4, 2024

Step 6:

Fellowship Kickoff | March 4, 2024 @ 11:00 AM PT/2:00 PM Eastern

Step 7:

Active Participation | March 4 – April 8, 2024 | Actively participate in weekly Plenaries, Cohorts and Independent Studies

Step 8:

Join the Changemakers Network | Upon completion of the program join a National network of incredible Changemakers!

FAQ

General Questions

What is the time commitment?

3-4 hours per week for 9 weeks

Each week you will participate in a plenary, a cohort meeting, and asyncronous content on your time. Our Plenaries will take place once a week, see dates below, and you can select the cohort time that works for you from the options when you apply.

What is a plenary?

A large group sessions | 75 minutes one evening a week.

When are the plenaries?

What is a cohort?

Small guided group sessions | 1 hour a week | to network, connect, and dive into the topic and discover how it relates to you. Selct from before or after the Plenaries, Tuesday evenings, Friday mornings, to be selcted when you apply.

Will there be asynchronous content?

Yes! There will be a virtual platform for you to connect on your own time with the content and other Fellows, approximately one hour per week

What does the Changemaker curriculum cover?

Changemakers covers three key themes:

1. Personal Leadership Development: What do I need to know about myself to succeed
2. Jewish Community: What does it mean to be Jewish in our ever-changing and diverse landscape?
3. Taking Action: How can I contribute meaningfully and make change around the issues I care about most?
